The Polar Express Experience
If you are looking for a great holiday event to enjoy with your family, visit the Sauerbeck Family Drive-In!
This will be a very popular event so buy your tickets in advance to reserve a spot. We have setup arrival time windows to help keeps lines as short as possible. This is a rain or shine or snow event!
The Polar Express Experience will take families on a journey to our own “North Pole”! There will be a display of giant inflatables as you approach the Ticket Booth to get your Golden Tickets. Then as you drive toward the parking lot you will stop at stations so everyone can get a candy cane, a cookie, a cup of Hot Chocolate and their own silver bell! Santa or Mrs. Claus will waving to the cars as they drive past for a quick HoHoHo!
All cars will then park in the lot to see the on-screen introduction from Santa and watch Mrs. Claus read “Twas The Night Before Christmas”. We will then show The Polar Express!
Our normal concessions menu may be limited during this event.
Santa Meet & Greet – Santa will be visiting our Drive-In on every night of the Polar Express Experience and will have limited availability family Meet & Greets during the movie, with additional ticket. You will be able to talk to him and take pictures. There are only six passes being sold per half hour so you do not have to stand in line long. The Meet & Greet will be in our pavilion, so you will still be able to watch the movie while you are in line. Meet & Greet passes are per carload with a limit of 8 people.
Details – Pricing is per carload of up to 6 people. If you have more than 6 people in your car, you may add up to 2 additional admissions for $8 each. Children under 3 do not require admission to ride along, but only paid admissions will get the extra items (ticket, cookie, hot chocolate, candy cane and bell). All passengers must have a seatbelt. Any party of more than 8 will require a second vehicle.
5:00p – Gates open
5:00-6:00p – Santa or Mrs. Claus will be waiving to cars as they enter – Please arrive during your ticketed time to avoid long lines.
Drive-Thru Treat Stations before parking! – Hot Chocolate, Candy Cane, Christmas Cookie and Silver Bell all included!
6:00p – On screen introduction from Santa and Mrs. Claus reading of “Twas The Night Before Christmas”.
6:20p – The Polar Express Movie
8:00p – End of Movie
